Press Release

Munich, June 2, 2026 – ASC successfully completed the acquisition of ContiTrade France SAS, which includes 130 company-owned tire service outlets, from Continental. The business, headquartered in Le Meux, comprises 1,200 employees operating a network stretching from north to south of France. ASC will focus on developing a lean, entrepreneurial-minded organization to streamline operations and position the business as an agile, customer-centric vehicle maintenance partner in France.
ASC currently operates a portfolio of companies headquartered in Europe, with activities that span around the globe, and encompass a multitude of sectors and industries, such as general industrials, automotive, automation, lighting, business process outsourcing and chemicals.

Continental took the decision to divest its owned French based Best Drive outlet network as it no longer aligns with its core business strategy. After a thorough selection process, ASC was selected as the best new home of the business, among others, due to its strong and reliable track record in managing complex carveouts and sustainably improving and growing businesses.

„We are thrilled about becoming an independent company and confident that this transition will be beneficial for all our business partners“, commented Stéphane Drouillard, CEO of Xellent. „This acquisition marks the start of a new and highly ambitious phase for our company. I am particularly pleased to be joining this exciting project with the professional support of ASC and alongside the Xellent team that drive the network’s success on a daily basis. Our goal is to build a more agile company that is entrenched in its field and more focused on customer service. We will approach this transformation with a high standard of excellence, energy, and great confidence in the company’s expertise.“

Johannes Pichler, Managing Partner of ASC, commented: “We are excited that Continental has chosen ASC as the most reliable and trusted partner for taking over its French tire service and distribution operations. By remaining part of Continental’s European BestDrive franchise network while operating as an independent, entrepreneurial-minded organization, ASC is confident that the company is well-positioned to streamline operations and further strengthen its role as an agile, customer-centric vehicle maintenance partner in the French market. ASC will strongly support management in the implementation of a modern, purpose-driven IT environment to automate administrative tasks, enhance transparency, and ultimately free up resources to enhance customer services.”
